In de expositie ‘Nothing. Click. Everything’ kijkt Salvo terug op hun publicaties, diverse residenties en tentoonstellingen. In een poging dwarsverbanden te vinden, ontstaan nieuwe experimenten, inzichten en mogelijkheden.

In the exhibition Nothing. Click. Everything' Salvo looks back on their publications, various residencies and exhibitions. In an attempt to find connections, new experiments, insights and possibilities arise.
Salvo Collectief maakt sinds 2012 publicaties. Anne Geene, Arjan de Nooy, Sander Uitdehaag en Vincent van Baar begonnen bijna 10 jaar geleden met het maken en verspreiden van een periodiek rondom een zelfopgelegd, fotografisch getint thema. Daarin keren ze het medium fotografie binnenstebuiten. Met steeds een ander thema in het achterhoofd (van beweging, kader, schaal tot pixel) bedrijven ze, zoals ze het zelf graag noemen, fotofictie. Fictie niet als associatieve fantasie, maar als de mogelijkheid van waarheid. Zoals een goed boek niet iets geeft, maar iets afneemt: een van je zekerheden.

Bij Pennings Foundation wordt naast het werk uit de publicaties een vuistdik boek, Out-And-Out, in een oplage van 4 gepresenteerd dat het gemaakte drukwerk herschikt en herdefinieert.

Salvo Collective has been making publications since 2012. Almost ten years ago, Anne Geene, Arjan de Nooy, Sander Uitdehaag and Vincent van Baar started making and distributing a periodical around a self-imposed, photographically tinted theme. With this they turn the medium of photography inside out. With a different theme in mind (from movement, frame, scale to pixel) they engage in, as they like to call it, photo fiction. Fiction not as associative fantasy, but as the possibility of truth. Just as a good book does not give something, but takes something away: one of your certainties.

At Pennings Foundation, in addition to the work from the publications, a fist-sized book, Out-And-Out, is presented in an edition of 4 that rearranges and redefines the printed matter.
