Live audio visual performance

Sumeet Rohilla is a mixedmedia visual artist and creative technologist whose work connects science, art, and technology. Drawing on his background in mathematical physics and optical sciences, he creates immersive, datadriven visual environments using computational systems. His practice explores perception, the unfolding of complex systems, and the interplay between control and chaos within digital media. 

Mohsen Mehrafrouz is a sound artist and electronic music producer working across live performance, theatre, and spatial installations. With roots in classical and flamenco guitar, opera, and multiinstrumental practice, his work centers on tactile sound design and the emotional impact of sound in space. Influenced by yoga, meditation, and psychology, he integrates themes of embodiment and human connection into his music and is active in fostering collaborative musical communities. 

Performances will be held on Thursday, March 19, Friday, March 20, and Saturday, March 21, 2026, at the Pennings Foundation, each time from 20:00 to 21:00.

Sumeet Rohilla is een mixedmedia kunstenaar en creative technoloog die wetenschap, kunst en technologie met elkaar verbindt. Met zijn achtergrond in mathematische natuurkunde en optische wetenschappen creëert hij zintuigprikkelende, datagedreven visuele omgevingen gebaseerd op computergestuurde systemen. Zijn werk onderzoekt perceptie, het zichtbaar maken van complexe systemen en het spanningsveld tussen controle en chaos in digitale media. 

Mohsen Mehrafrouz is een geluidskunstenaar en producer van elektronische muziek die werk maakt voor live performances, theater en ruimtelijke installaties. Vanuit zijn achtergrond in klassieke en flamenco gitaar, opera en multi-instrumentaal spel richt hij zich op tactiele geluidsvormgeving en de emotionele werking van geluid in ruimte. Geïnspireerd door yoga, meditatie en psychologie verwerkt hij thema’s als belichaming en menselijke verbinding in zijn werk, en zet hij zich in voor het bouwen van muzikale communities.  

Uitvoeringen zijn op donderdag 19 maart, vrijdag 20 maart en zaterdag 21 maart 2026 bij Pennings Foundation, telkens van 20.00 tot 21.00 uur.
